Milestones
- 01
2004 — Founded in Muscat
Eleven engineers, one commissioning contract, and a stated intention to take operatorship rather than hand plants over.
- 02
2009 — Al Nakhil discovered
The first operated licence. Discovery well drilled in the Rub' al Khali margin; first oil follows five years later.
- 03
2013 — Rish Dune sanctioned
A shared sour gas plant serving four fields, taken on as operator on behalf of the field partners.
- 04
2018 — Into Iraq and the Caspian
Refining and brownfield engineering opens in Basra governorate; subsurface work begins on the North Caspian margin.
- 05
2021 — Emissions put on the production cycle
Every flare tip at every operated site metered, and the group-wide flaring programme begins from a measured baseline.
- 06
2022 — Solar reaches the injection load
Forty-six megawatts of tracking arrays take over the water injection pumps at three fields.
- 07
2026 — Sahil FEED complete
Front-end design closes on the 1.6 Mtpa polymer complex at Duqm, with investment decision targeted for 2027.
